Career Summary
Stephen joined NetCo Investments, Inc. as a partner in 2024 after spending 11 years as the Head of Transactions at InvenTrust Properties Corp. (NYSE: IVT), where he led $2B in acquisitions and dispositions via 50+ transactions. Prior to this, he worked in financial consulting and was on the transactions team at First Industrial Realty Trust (NYSE: FR). He began his career in property management, including managing the former John Hancock Center, a commercial real estate icon on Chicago’s Magnificent Mile.
Experience
Stephen has worked in transactions and asset management across a broad spectrum of asset classes including retail, office, industrial, and multifamily. At IVT, he completed acquisitions and dispositions in 35 separate markets across the United States. He was instrumental in the formulation and revisions to corporate growth initiatives, and actively involved in the preparation and execution of property level investment strategies. He has grown and maintains relationships with owners, brokers, developers, and operators throughout the United States.
The beginning of his career focused on operations, providing a solid base of real estate knowledge transferable to transactions and asset management. During the Global Financial Crisis, he worked for a boutique consulting firm, completing $250M in troubled loan resolutions.
Education
Stephen has an MBA from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Missouri.

Stephen is a member International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), a Vice Chair of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) – CRC Silver Council, and Co-Chair of the annual University of Chicago, Booth School of Business Real Estate Conference.
